Born: 1922, died: March 14,1963 in Rome, Italy
Went to Julliard when she was 18 years old.
Sang on Broadway in:
The Chocolate Soldier, The Merry Widow, Rosalinda, Three Musketeers Rose Marie and the national touring company of Kiss Me Kate. (All lead roles at The Los Angeles Civic Light Opera one of the most influential 20th century musical theatre organization to present high-quality stage musicals, to present "light opera in the grand opera manner and showed that big Broadway-style entertainment of the highest quality could succeed in Los Angeles to offer artists and producers the ability to book their shows in both L.A. and San Francisco, and because of this successful partnership, Broadway producers for the first time saw that it could be profitable to extend the route of touring Broadway shows West of the Rocky Mountains.
1945 Rose Marie Marguerite Piazza, Eduardo Cianelli Irene Manning, Walter Cassel, Eddie Foy, Jr., Frances McCann 1946Vagabond King John Tyers, Frances McCann Dorothy Sarnoff, Francis McCann Sang with the San Francisco Opera.
She was the only woman to sing with the world famous Don Cossack Choir.
Leading guest soprano to the Berlin State Opera for two years.
Guest performer in the opera houses of Munich, Luebeck, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Cologne, and others.

In Germany, she sang in... Peer Gynt (Rothaarige), La Boehme (Musetta), Pagliacci (Nedda), Cavereria Rusticana (Santuzza), Tosca (Tosca), Masked Ball (Amelia), La Traviata (Violetta), Il Trovatore (Leonore) and Lohengrin (Elsa)... among others.
